Speculation is part of the job when it comes to talking about cars online or in print. There've been many rumors about a price hike for the upcoming LaCrosse. But other websites won't tell readers what they receive for a bigger price tag.
The 2012 Buick LaCrosse, coming to Walser Buick GMC - Bloomington, located at 4601 American Blvd. West in Bloomington, MN 55437, has been given a slew of upgrades, and keeps its price tag under the $30,000 marker. Official MSRP rings in at $29,960. Yes, that's about $2800 over base pricing for 2011's variant - but look at what's new:
SEVEN equipment upgrades following the success of last year's model. These include "Convenience" options like remote start, "Leather" options that makes your seating much slicker, "Premium I, II, III" groups that give you upgraded memory in the dash, added horsepower or more hybrid power (if you choose the LaCrosse Hybrid model), and finally "Touring" - which includes heads-up display and 19" alloy wheels.1
These additional options, which can be added and subtracted based on the buyer's convenience at your local dealer prior to purchase, are spread throughout the base LaCrosse, CX, CXL and CXS trim levels.
Still concerned about a starting price higher than last year's model? Think of it this way - Buick and GM offer some of the top warranty packages in the automotive field. That, on top of the competition's base MSRP at $5000 or more over Buick, make it the right time to get into a LaCrosse.
