GMC has announced that an all-electric Sierra is in the works and will be debuting sometime this year. The vehicle itself will be assembled at GM’s Factory ZERO Assembly Plant in Michigan. We have also been told that the electric Sierra will be built on the Ultium Platform, GM’s electric platform that will offer electric propulsion, exhilarating torque and zero emissions. The electric Sierra will only be made in the Denali trim so we can expect the vehicle to have luxury appointments with Sierra proven capability. The initial lighting sequence and redesigned exterior features can be seen in the above clip. The EV inspired design is highlighted by a smooth, illuminated grille and GMC badging with the addition of newly designed headlights and signals.
